A Little Bit About Me

Hi, my name is Syamsul Arifin, I am 25 and I am a web & graphic designer based in Surabaya, Indonesia with over 2 years industry experience and this is my personal website showcases some of the work that I have created. I can render any kind of approach to design - minimal to maximal, bright to dark, clean to grungy... and can translate my designs into HTML/XHTML/CSS. I am also a Flash enthusiast.

Backgound

I was graduated from Sepuluh Nopember Institute Of Technology (ITS) Surabaya 2007 with a B.Sc in Physics Science. But, Since 2005 I have been interested in Animation, Web and Graphics Design. Most of my design skills and knowledge are self taught, I spent a lot of my time researching the W3C web standards and practising building sites to meet all accessibility guidelines.

After graduating from my university, I decide to run as a freelance web and Graphics designer, I am able to provide top quality services at reasonable prices. I provide many services such as corporate identity, advertising campaigns, graphic design, flash animations, and web development.

Present

I am currently working as online freelancer, in collaboration with shitload of agencies and companies such as djavaweb, web king design, jerry wijaya, Oret 62 advertising, ITS multimedia center, Puri Surya Jaya Ltd, Surya Regency Ltd. My current role is concept design for web and print projects, Template customization , Implementing the storyboard into Flash Animations and also helping graphic designers who have no or little knowledge of W3C standard markup so that allowing them to spend more time creating the design and less worrying about the xHTML/CSS coding.
